PHILADELPHIA — Special Olympics Butler County had 28 athletes competing in three total sports at the Fall Festival last weekend at Villanova University.

Winning the gold medal in soccer were Clint Atkinson, Madeline Burns, Rosalind Burns, James Caldwell, Mike Davis, Tod Johnson, James Leonard, Chuck Losser, Nicole McKinnis, Stephanie Myers, Austin Sellner and Carl Steffy.

Claiming gold in individual volleyball skills were Charles Sigmund and Erma McCullough.

Bocce team members Miles Morris and David Pizor won the silver medal.

Volleyball silver medal winners were Haley Spohn and Larry Fend while Shawn Kuntz and Paul Hoolahan won bronze.

Winning bronze medals in team volleyball were Jacki Able, Ben Bennett, Danny Harlan, Amber Merrison, Don Monn, Bruce Pryor, Brian Reinhart, Bobby Schettler and Valerie Stiffy.
