Carla M. Aiken, 37, of Connoquenessing Township died Tuesday afternoon at Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Tampa, Fla., Oct. 17, 1973, a daughter of Carl Aiken and Deborah McLaughlin Stivason.

She was preceded in death by two children: a son, Logan Beckwith and a daughter, Hailey Weiland, who were both tragically killed in an automobile accident Aug. 17, 2010. Also she was preceded in death by her grandfather, Robert McLaughlin; and her uncle, Thomas McLaughlin.

Surviving are a son, Eithan Beckwith of Connoquenessing Township; her mother, Deborah Stivason, also of Connoquenessing Township; her father, Carl Aiken of Tampa, Fla.; a brother, James Fritch (Lisa) of Slippery Rock; her grandmother, Hazel Hilliard of Butler; and uncles and aunts, Robert and Rose McLaughlin, Donald and Pam McLaughlin and Terri Hay.

AIKEN — Friends of Carla M. Aiken, who died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011, will be received at the

Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Robert Huber, pastor of the North Street Christian Church, will officiate. Private interment will be at Greenlawn Burial Estates.The family requests that memorial donations be sent to Geibel Funeral Home to defray funeral expenses.Information also is available at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
