My apologies to the good readers of the Butler Eagle, but this message needs to get through to all the school bus drivers in the coverage area.

PA School Bus Drivers Beware,

School Bus Drivers, public and private, should be aware that there is a bill in the State House designed to block you from collecting unemployment compensation during the summer months. Started in South Central Pennsylvania (Adams County), the bill has the support of six representatives and possibility more. The bill number is H.B. 128. Under the guidelines of “Reasonable Assurance”, the bill denies you from collecting unemployment compensation, but you will continue to pay in. Call or email your representative in Harrisburg and let them know that this bill, H.B. 128, is not acceptable, and that you will vote in the next election.
