Mary Lucille (Fogel) Roach
Mary Lucille (Fogel) Roach, 86, of Livingston, Tenn., formerly of Zelienople, passed away Sept. 20 while under the care of the Overton County Nursing Home in Livingston and her granddaughter, Stephanie in Allons, Tenn.
Born May 28, 1925, in Zelienople, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Mary (Leonberg) Fogel.
She was the former manager of Roach and Ziegler Furniture Store, a Girl Scout leader, a life member of the Zelienople Historical Society and a 60-year plus member of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary. In addition, she always was active as a longtime member of the St. Peter's Reformed Church.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Deborah Nicklas and her husband, Roger, of Tybee Island, Ga.; a son-in-law, John Sloan and his wife, Melinda, of Virginia; four granddaughters, Stephanie VanDomelen and her husband, Jon, Gwendolyn Binder, Emily Tadlock and her husband, John, and Sarah Sloan. She found great joy in her four great-grandchildren, Cameron Binder, Nick VanDomelen, Jill VanDomelen and Ann Marie Sloan.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronald E. Roach, who passed away Sept. 25, 2000; her daughter, Ann Sloan; and her brother, John Fogel.
