BUTLER TWP — The Alameda Park annual haunted bonfire event will begin at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the park's Masonic Shelter.

All are invited to wear a costume, take their own s'mores ingredients and a lawn chair and enjoy an evening of ghost stories and music, hot chocolate, hot dogs and popcorn near the fire.

The event will include a pinata and the Alameda Treasure Dig.

PENN TWP — The Succop Conservancy will partner with the Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania to offer Family Walk-Abouts: Creatures of the Night at 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday.The event is an annual non-scary Halloween experience and trick-or-treat with animals. Programs begin every 15 to 20 minutes. PENN TWP — The Butler VNA will host a Halloween-themed Wine and “Spirits” fundraising event from 7 to 11 p.m. Oct. 29 at The Mansion on Route 8.Music will be provided by a DJ.
