Fall was your favorite time of year, you loved the colors of leaves, the smell of the air and the cold crisp mornings.

You looked so forward to the start of hunting, football and hockey season and the NASCAR Championship.

Your excitement of becoming an uncle for the first time made all us smile, you would have been such a good uncle.

And now we have just the memories of all those many falls we spent with you. And the fall we had to say good-bye, to a son, brother, nephew and friend.

To a young man who meant so much to so many, whose life ended much too soon.

We hear you in the wind and feel your touch as the falling leaves come down on us. Our hearts continue to break with each passing year. And we still ask why?

We have no answers. We only know that time makes us miss you more and we wish we could have had just one more fall to share with our #3.
