Conti

Anna Elvira Conti, 82, of Boyers passed away unexpectedly at 9:10 p.m. Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born Oct. 23, 1928, in Villa Sant’Angelo (AQ), Italy. She was the daughter of the late Raffaele Roselli and Anna Aurora D’Ascenzo Roselli.

She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Conti was a member of St. Alphonsus Parish, having attended Epiphany Catholic Church in Boyers. She was very active in the church as a member of the Altar Society and the Nifty Fifty Club.

She enjoyed her grandchildren and attending their activities.

She is survived by one daughter, Mariannina LaRosa and her husband, James, of West Sunbury; and one son, Chester Conti and his wife, Janet, also of West Sunbury. Also surviving are her two grandsons Nicholas and Alexander Conti.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Balduino Conti, who passed away May 21, 2004, and by three sisters and one brother.

CONTI — Friends of Anna Elvira Conti, who died Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2011, will be received at

William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Epiphany Catholic Church with Father James Bedillion, of St. Alphonsus Parish, officiating. Burial will be in Epiphany Cemetery.
