Gene Lattus Jr. and Katie Lassinger

A Sept. 22 wedding is being planned by Katie Lassinger and Gene Lattus Jr., both of Fairfax, Va.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Terry and Susan Lassinger of Willis, TX. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Gene and Mary Lattus of Natrona Heights.

The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Knoch High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. She is employed as a dental hygienist in Fairfax, Va.

Her fiance graduated in 1998 from Highlands High School and in 2002 from Gannon University. He is a lieutenant in the United States Navy and is deployed in Afghanistan.
