Richard A. Convery, 41, of the Chicora Medical Center died Saturday evening at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Feb. 7, 1970, in Butler, he was a son of Roger J. Convery and Linda K. (Green) Bowser.

Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Linda K. and Tom Bowser of Prospect; his father and stepmother, Roger J. and Teresa Convery of Westfield, Mass.; his grandmother, Grace Green of Prospect; a brother, Joe Convery of Westfield, Mass.; a sister, Barb Convery of Westfield, Mass.; and a number of stepbrothers, stepsisters, aunts, uncles and other family members.

CONVERY — There will be no visitation. A memorial Mass for Richard A. Convery, who died Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011, will be celebrated Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at the St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman. The Rev. Ward Stakem, O.F.M.
