Floyd J. Beckett
Floyd J. Beckett, 86, of Kittanning died Monday at ACMH Hospital, Kittanning.
Born Nov. 16, 1924, in Boggsville, South Buffalo Township, Armstrong County, he was the son of the late Clarence Beckett and Estella (Steele) Beckett.
He was a retired dairy farmer and a member of the Slate Lick United Presbyterian Church.
Mr. Beckett enjoyed gardening and hunting.
Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Helen (Slagle) Beckett; a daughter, Shirley Craig and her husband, Bernard, of Kittanning; three grandchildren, Shelley Sacik of McVille, Scott Sacik of Monongahela, and Jeffrey Sacik, of Johnstown; two great-grandsons; a great-granddaughter; sisters, Mildred Grafton of Kittanning, Sara Grafton of Kittanning and Dorothy Grafton of Worthington; and a brother, Jay Beckett of Applewold.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Leroy Beckett.
