BUTLER TWP — The 4th Annual Butler County Public Auction will begin with item viewing at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at the Butler Farm Show Grounds.
The auction will start at 6 p.m. Refreshments and homemade bake sale items will be available.
Proceeds benefit the Butler County 4-H Program and 4-H Development Scholarship Fund.

HARMONY — The Harmony Museum will offer a German dinner Saturday in Stewart Hall at Main and Mercer streets.The reservation-only buffet includes sauerkraut soup, bratwurst, meatballs with blue cheese, roasted pork, sauerkraut, German potato salad, spaetzle (German noodles), seasonal salads and vegetables, and an assortment of desserts. Tea and coffee are available for those who don't bring along their favorite German beverage.Prepaid reservations are required for the 4:30 or 6:30 p.m. seating. MARS — VFW POST 7505 is hosting a poker run in memory of Dean Purvis to benefit Veteran Charities at 10 a. m.
