Marshall Twp — Single lane closures will occur in both directions on Interstate 79 in the area of the bridge over Mingo Road north of the Wexford Interchange, Exit 73, Allegheny County, each day next week.

Work crews will be applying a protective sealant on the new bridge decks, PennDOT announced today.

Single lane closures will occur from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. as needed each day. Since this is a three lane section of I-79, two lanes will remain open in each direction while the work occurs.

The $10 million project includes improvements on several I-79 bridges. The overall project will be completed in fall 2011.
