SARVER — Jason Meyers came to Lernerville Speedway on Saturday and left with a $10,000 prize.

The Clovis, Calif. resident captured the World of Outlaw Sprint Cars Commonwealth Clash, topping the 24-car field.

Donny Schatz of Fargo, Tenn. and Sammy Swindell of Germantown, Tenn., placed second and third, respectively.

Brian Ellenberger of Butler was the highest Butler County finisher at 13th place. Lernerville regular Ed Lynch Jr. of Apollo was 14th.

Of the field, the top-five finishers in the four heats advanced to the feature while the top four from the B-Main moved on to close out the field.

There were 32 cars that took part in the Clash.

Next up, Lernerville will host a DIRTcar Sprints, Late Models, Big Block Modified, Late Models, Sportsman/Stocks, UMP Mods, 4 Cylinders & Mod Lites plus the 100-lap Enduro on Oct. 20-22.
