WORTH TWP — A man was taken to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh after he allegedly accidentally shot himself with a shotgun just after noon today.

Reports indicate that the man’s wife also may have been in the room when the shooting occurred, but police have not released the man’s identity or condition.

State police and Portersville Volunteer EMS responded to the 12:30 p.m. emergency call at 145 Patterson Road, north of Coopers Lake Campground.
