MERCER TWP — A tractor-trailer overturned this morning on Route 8 near the county’s northern border.

According to Butler County Emergency Services, no serious injuries were reported.

The accident occurred about 6 a.m.

The Harrisville Volunteer Fire Department responded to the 911 call.

A second accident on Route 8, at McCalmont Road at the Butler Township-Penn Township border, was reported at 6:16 a.m.

Two vehicles were involved in the collision. The South Butler Volunteer Fire Department responded. Butler Ambulance treated people at the scene but was not listed as having taken anyone to a hospital.
