In memory of Patrick D. Walker

Patrick, 5 years ago you left us here,

Here to each live another year,

I know that was not your intent,

A higher power willed your consent.

Please know that as the years have gone by,

We try harder each year not to cry.

We remember you well in good times and bad,

All along the way we try not to be sad.

We still see your face, hear your laugh and your humor,

It rings in our ears although you may be no more.

Gone from this world you definitely may be,

Your presence, your spirit, all or us still see.

As on your headstone the words they do say,

“His Indomitable Spirit Lives On”

So must your family and we try to be strong.
