Scott Beblo and Candace Whippo

An Oct. 1 wedding is being planned by Candace Whippo and Scott Beblo, both of Butler.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Janet Newton of Austintown, Ohio, and the late Merrill Whippo Sr. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Joseph and Sandra Beblo of Butler.

The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Canfield High School. She is employed by the Surgical Hospital at Southwoods in Boardman, Ohio, as a state tested nursing assistant.

Her fiance graduated in 1994 from Butler High School and in 1998 from Clarion University. He is employed by Verizon Wireless in Cranberry Township as a supervisor.
