Shaffer claims All-Star Sprint feature race at Lernerville

BUFFALO TWP — Tim Shaffer of Aliquippa captured the All-Star Circuit of Champions 30-lap Sprint Feature to highlight the Friday show at Lernerville Speedway.

David Glavel of Watertown, Conn., took second in the event.

Butler’s Brian Ellenberger was the top county placewinner, finishing in seventh place.

In the Sportsman 20-lap feature, Chris Schneider of Springdale held off Corey McPherson of Tarentum while points champion Mike Miller of Chicora was third.

In the 15-lap Sprint Warrior feature, Guy Griffin cruised to victory lane. Sarver’s Steve Lucas was the top county finisher in 10th place.
