Gary is not rich, otherwise he would of floated an IPO, fired most of his employees and moved his manufacturing/servicing offshore, and kept his monies in a tax haven. Rich Gary would would move a chunk of money into financial instruments that were hedged by other financial instruments so that he would have little to no exposed risk. Rich Gary would regularly socialize with his local congress person to ensure favorable legislation for Gary, and to insure the friendly congress person re/elected. Rich Gary would still have some surplus money to engage in oil speculation but would avoid gold as a suckers bet. And if Rich Gary got rich and big enough, well the Federal Reserve becomes his oyster. Rich Gary would get enjoy all the benefits of living in this great country without ever having to pay for it, arguing that taxes should be charged like stadium seating while sitting in a boxseat.

But, like me, Gary is not rich, he is a hard working stiff with alittle luck and talent that made it to the upper middle class.

Good job, keep it up, the country needs more like you.

Unfortunately, while Gary thinks he's rich, the real richhave corrupted the political process to make him pay a huge chunk of taxes and hired top notch media to make him believe that all problems are the fault of the working class, the poor, and sub-minimum wage immigrants.
