Jeep's Journey into History

The 1941 BRC-40 Jeep was designed by the American Bantam Car Co. in Butler and met the Army's requirements for a light, adaptable vehicle to use for reconnaissance. Its performance won the hearts of servicemen like Frank John of Butler, below, who remembers the Jeep being a constant companion during World War II.
