Rabies clinic planned for petsRENFREW — The Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, will host a rabies clinic from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 30 at the shelter. Shots are $8 per animal.Dogs and cats must be at least three months old. Bring proof of the last rabies shot for a three-year vaccination. Without proof, pets will receive a one-year vaccination. Rummage sale slated at clubMERIDIAN — The Ladies Auxiliary rummage sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday at the Meridian Vets Club, 125 Vets Club Road.

Public bus trip to casino plannedThe YWCA of Butler will sponsor a public bis trip Aug. 18 to Presque Isle Downs and Casino in Erie.
