ZELIENOPLE — The Zelienople Library, 227 S. High St., will hold an edible house contest as part of its Christmas in July celebration.Model houses must be built entirely of edible materials (not necessarily gingerbread) and will be judged in three age divisions: children 12 and younger, teens ages 13 to 17; and adults 18 and older. Library patrons will receive a ballot to vote in exchange for a $1 donation. Houses must be delivered to the library by July 23 and will be displayed the week of July 25. Winners will be announced July 30.The library will celebrate Christmas Around the World during the week of July 25 with programs for all ages on customs, foods and traditions.
