Cranberry Township resident Ryan Vilella scored the only goal in the 55th minute, leading the Beadling Soccer Club’s under-16 team to a 1-0 victory over New Jersey in the Region 1 championship game recently.

Beadling went 4-0-1 in the tournament and did not allow a goal.

The squad will now represent PA West at the 2011 US Youth National Tournament later this month in Phoenix, Ariz.

Report: Yao Ming set to call it a careerHOUSTON — Yahoo!
