The following benefits will be held for Skylar Meredith, 12, of Butler, who was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor.

• 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. July 2, Chinese auction and raffle at the Rotary Shelter of Butler Memorial Park

• EMLENTON — The 56th annual Gerwick family reunion will be held at 1 p.m. July 10 at Hughes Park. Bring a covered dish and gifts for the auction for kids up to age 10.• BUTLER TWP — The 65th Annual Jones and Davis family reunion will be held July 16 at Sugarcreek Park. Bring a picnic to share for meals at noon and 5 p.m. Bingo players should bring a wrapped gift and there will be a white elephant auction and grocery basket fundraiser for those who wish to contribute. MUDDY CREEK TWP — The Muddy Creek Oil Field in Moraine State Park will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 9 for visitors to see an operating oil field and learn about the history of oil in this area.There also will be free refreshments and an exhibit of antique tractors.
