Marcus Cashell singled twice and homered to help lift Saxonburg to a 12-2 win over Butler City in Butler County American Legion baseball action Tuesday.

Also contributing to the victory were Andy Fritz with two singles and a double and Mac Megahan with a single and double.

Kris Ricker doubled for Butler City, John Cumpston singled twice and Jarod Vose had a base hit.

• Zelienople put together three straight victories recently, defeating Cranberry 12-1, Butler City 12-7 and Center Township 10-3.

Alex Crawford struck out seven in the win over Cranberry. Rob Rose had two singles and a double while Matt Sweikoski had two singles.

Winning pitcher Zak Muto allowed three hits and had two singles in the win over Butler City. Blaine Bartley added three singles and a triple, Luc Eppinger and Crawford two singles each.

Winning pitcher Rob Rose allowed two hits to Center Township. Muto had four RBI while Eppinger, Bartley and Crawford had two singles each.
