The Education and Clinical Advancement Center at Butler Memorial Hospital will offer the “It's a Girl Thing” mother/daughter class from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday in the Nixon Sarver classrooms, located in the tower addition on the hospital's main campus.Mothers and their 9-to-12-year-old daughters will discuss changes that occur during puberty. BUTLER TWP — Special Olympics Butler County will host the seventh annual auction and community day with a live auction at 1 p.m. June 26 at Butler Township Park, 468 S. Duffy Road. The preview begins at noon.The event includes an auction of community-donated items, bake sale, Chinese auction, music and games.
