Pillow Street flooded by water main break
A water main break Friday morning on Pillow Street stalled traffic and left more than 24 customers without water for most of the day.
“We have a break on a 12-inch main, with about 20 to 30 people out of water,” said Gary Lobaugh, a spokesman for Pennsylvania-American Water, on Friday afternoon.
The break opened a 20-foot wide hole in the street, closing it to traffic for most of the day.
Lobaugh estimated it would take until about 7 p.m. to repair the main which broke between 9 and 10 a.m.
