That's the problem with people - notice I say people, not just politicians - in America today. Everyone makes mistakes, but there's no sense of modesty or perspective among people like Palin; they are incapable of admitting fault or error.

It's not a big deal. You apologize for rambling and being wrong. Maybe it was hot. She was surrounded by a ton of people. Who cares. What's telling is that Palin - and her foolhardy supporters - are so intent on being infallible. These are classic signs of egomania, and the last thing we need in an elected leader.

Thankfully, Palin will stay where the money is entertaining people on Fox.
