BaseballQuad A: Butler vs. Penn-Trafford, 7 p.m. Tuesday at Highlands High School; Seneca Valley vs. Central Catholic, 7 p.m. Tuesday at North Allegheny High School
Class AAA: Mars received a first-round bye and will face the Montour-Hopewell winner
Class AA: Freeport vs. Waynesburg, 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at Gateway High School
SoftballQuad A: Seneca Valley vs. Plum, 2 p.m. Monday at Hampton Field No. 2
Class AA: Freeport vs. Mt. Pleasant, 2 p.m. Tuesday at Gateway High School
3 Knoch athletes shine at InvitePINE TWP — Three Knoch track and field athletes, ranked among the county’s best in their respective events, placed first at the recent 35-team Pine-Richland Invitational.Andrew Rumburg-Goodlin set a meet record of 50.87 seconds while winning the 400 meters. Garrett Shaw won the pole vault and has hit the 14-foot mark this season.On the girls side, Samantha Logan won the 400 meters. She has the fastest time in the county this spring at 58.2 seconds.
