Agreed, the article said "most" Americans, some pay more, some pay less. Our company also falls into the less category, you said yours did not.
But some discrepancy there? Maybe, but when you consider that they are the only professionals that I know of who have a salary ceiling that other professionals do not, then not really when you consider the entire package of salary and benefits. I can't think of any other professionals who go into a job and know from the beginning what the their maximum salary will be.
So if you add the $4000 dollar difference in health care to their average salary, does that then put them on par with what other professionals make?
I'm just saying when you look at the entire package and not just a segment of it, they earn a fair wage when you consider what other professionals make and take into consideration that their earning potential is not unlimited.
