Marilyn “Mirt” Weiss Kennison, 61, of Cranberry Township died Sunday at UPMC Hospital in Pittsburgh after complications from heart surgery.

Marilyn is survived by her husband, William Kennison; her son, Sean; a daughter, Heather Stiefel; and grandsons, Connor and Aaron. She also is survived by sisters, Susan Wagner, Gretchen Weiss Bergmann and Susan Kennison; brothers, James Kennison and Michael Kennison; her mother, Beverly Weiss; and longtime friend, John F. Herold.

<B>KENNISON </B>— A memorial service for Marilyn “Mirt” Weiss Kennison, who died Sunday, April 3, 2011, will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Glenshaw Alliance Church, 3601 Mount Royal Blvd., Glenshaw.
