PITTSBURGH — The nephew of Hall of Fame running back Tony Dorsett has been sentenced to 30 years in federal prison for heading a major cocaine ring out of the town both called home.

Thirty-three-year-old Anthony A. Dorsett, of Aliquippa, has been cooperating with authorities — testifying against several of the 12 others indicted with him three years ago — which could result in federal authorities asking for a sentence reduction in the future.

The indictment said the ring was based in that city’s crime-ridden Linmar Terrace public housing complex.
