CRANBERRY TWP — A report from the Butler County 911 center on Friday said that a thin, white male left King’s Jewelers on Route 19 without paying for a diamond engagement ring and a wedding band.

This occurred at 8:30 a.m.

The report said the man appeared to be in his 20s, and was wearing a white T-shirt and long white shorts.

Irt said a male employee followed the man out of the store.

Township police did not return calls from the Eagle for information, and King officials on Friday afternoon had no comment.
