Cleda R. Snyder Brant, 87, of Cabot, formerly of Somerset, passed away Saturday at the Good Samaritan Hospice, Cabot.

Born April 9, 1923, in Rockwood, she was the daughter of Lloyd and Eva (Weimer) Snyder.

Cleda was a graduate of Rockwood High School, Class of 1941.

She worked as hostess for the Holiday Inn in Somerset and also in the earned income tax office in Saxonburg.

She enjoyed shopping, playing cards and playing bingo.

Surviving are her loving daughter, Sheran (Robert) Gealy of Cabot; three grandchildren, Robert (Deborah) Gealy III of Collegeville, Lesley (Mark) Bachman of Butler and Lana Tharnish of Seven Fields; one great-granddaughter, Elise Bachman; and her brothers and sisters, Lester (Audrey) Snyder of Somerset, Blanche (Robert) Sanner of Berlin, Pa., Elaine Brugh of Rockwood, Nelda Fox of Rockwood, Shirley (Harold) Shultz of Kingwood and Lloyd (Joyce) Snyder Jr. of Rockwood.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Brant; two sisters; and two brothers.

<B>BRANT </B>— There will be no viewing. Graveside services for Cleda R. Snyder Brant, who died Saturday, March 26, 2011, will be held for her immediate family at the Somerset Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 145 W.
