Alma Louise (Grossman) Dally, 84, of Butler died at 7:29 a.m. Thursday in Orchard Manor, Grove City.

Born Oct. 29, 1926, in Brady Township, she was the daughter of the late Sherman Grossman and Grace (Riding) Grossman.

Mrs. Dally was a 1944 graduate of Slippery Rock High School. She retired from Slippery Rock University.

Mrs. Dally was a member of St. John's Methodist Church.

She enjoyed reading, gardening, stock car racing, and NASCAR racing.

Mrs. Dally is survived by her husband, Richard L. Dally, who she married May 2, 1970; two sons, Ronald J. Flynn and George E. Flynn, both of Slippery Rock; one daughter, Shirley J. Colosimo of Monroe, Mich.; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; two brothers, Richard Grossman and Grant Grossman; and one sister, Lydia Book.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dally was preceded in death by one son, James P. Flynn; and two sisters.

<B>DALLY </B>— Friends of Alma Louise (Grossman) Dally, who died Thursday, March 3, 2011, will be received at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St., Butler, Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be at the funeral home Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor David Ealy of St. John’s Methodist Church officiating.
