Sharrer

M. Carla Sharrer, 74, of Pittsburgh died Feb. 17 at her home.

Born Aug. 20, 1936, in Harmony, she was the daughter of Carl S. and Mary A. (Nesbitt) Sharrer.

Carla graduated from the Evans City High School in 1954. After high school, she served in the U.S. Navy and was a petty officer.

She was a computer operator and worked several jobs in her lifetime.

She loved her cat, Macy, was an avid Steeler fan and loved the symphony and jazz music.

She is survived by a sister, Suzanne (Ron) Burrell of Portersville; a brother, Michael (Patti) Sharrer of Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.
