I was wondering if anyone reading might have a solution to a problem my husband and I are experiencing. We have been receiving phone calls from bill collectors for relatives that we no longer have a relationship with. As a matter of fact these particular people owe us quite a large sum of money and we almost lost our home because of it.

We have informed the bill collectors that these people do not live at this address nor have this number, but to no avail. They have also accessed our cell phone numbers and we have limited minutes, so it ticks me off that they are being used by people that we have no dealings with.

My husband has serious medical problems and doesn't need the undo stress. Short of hiring an attorney (we have limited funds) what else can we do? Thank you for any help you can give. God Bless.
