Samaritan Counseling Center

Everyone goes through difficult times — times when depression, stress, grief, and marital or family disagreements feel overwhelming.

At the Samaritan Counseling Center, we help people through the difficult times of life by providing faith-based counseling. For 29 years, the Samaritan Counseling Center’s mission has been helping individuals and families achieve spiritual, emotional and physical well-being through professional counseling which incorporates the resources of faith.

Counseling should always bring us closer to becoming the person God intends us to be. At the Samaritan Counseling Center, we use a holistic approach which incorporates the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual dimensions of life. We help you gain skills enabling you to confront the realities of life, develop solutions to stressful situations, and learn to maintain the growth achieved.

We believe effective counseling takes place in a trusting relationship between client and counselor. The therapists at the Samaritan Counseling Center are caring professionals, dedicated to helping you grow beyond your present situation.

We provide one-on-one counseling for adults, children, adolescents, couples, and families. We also have certified spiritual directors for people seeking to deepen their prayer or spiritual life.

In addition to these one-on-one services, we lead workshops and retreats, as well as providing speakers on topics related to better, healthier living.

The 19 therapists at the Samaritan Counseling Center are state licensed and/or certified by a professional organization. Our center is fully accredited by the Samaritan Institute in Denver, Colo., which is acknowledged by the American Medical Association.

Our counselors realize the importance spirituality plays in achieving live-changing behaviors. They work within the context of each person’s religious tradition and no attempt is made to impose a particular belief system.

Many services are reimbursable using health care insurance. An adjusted fee, based on a family’s gross income, also can be used when a person does not have health care coverage.

We have three locations in Butler County and five additional offices in Allegheny and Beaver Counties.

At Samaritan Counseling Center we understand and we can help.
