CONNELLSVILLE — A Western Pennsylvania amputee is hospitalized after rescuers pulled him from a collapsed building after he fell two stories and called 911 for help.

Fire officials said Brian Upton was working on the fourth floor of the building he owns in Connellsville when it collapsed, sending him down to the second floor and leaving him trapped.

Upton’s mother told a TV station he lost one leg in an accident when he was 16.

Upton was listed in good condition with injuries to his leg, back and hip.
