Benjamin W. Kelsey, 31, of Rohrbach Road, Chicora, Bradys Bend Township, Armstrong County, died at 12:09 a.m. Sunday at Butler Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness.

Benjamin was born Jan. 4, 1980, in Punxsutawney, the son of Bryan and Kim Dinger Kelsey of Chicora.

He was a 1998 graduate of Karns City High School.

Ben attended the Chicora Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. He loved the Lord and he would witness to those he talked to online.

He enjoyed radio controlled vehicles, drawing and the company of his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Dena Fisher of Chicora; his paternal grandparents, Robert and Phyllis Kelsey of Punxsutawney; his maternal grandmother, Barbara Dinger, also of Punxsutawney; two nephews, Jakob and Logan Fisher of Chicora; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Frank Dinger.

<B>KELSEY</B> — Friends of Benjamin W. Kelsey, who died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011, will be received at the <B>Hile Funeral Home of Chicora</B>, 339 Chicora Fenelton Road, Chicora, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Mark Wallace, pastor of the Chicora Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, officiating.
