Dora Morgan-Hargrove, 77, of Butler died Tuesday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Butler.

Born Nov. 12, 1933, in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Johnnie Mae Durr Morgan.

Mrs. Morgan-Hargrove was a 1960 graduate of Penn State, earning a master's in sociology. She had been the director of psychiatric social work for the State of California for 38 years.

Dora was a wonderful person and dearly loved by family and friends.

She is survived by her friend and nephew, Mario St. Dehaven “Jimmy” Crews of Butler; a niece, Jessica Morgan; and cousins, Paul Avery and his daughter, Shanice Avery, of Beaver Falls and Henry Avery of Canada.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Hargrove in 1990.
