Eleanor Rose Allen of Slippery Rock died Thursday in Hermitage.

She was born July 6, 1924, in Slippery Rock to the late Henry and Alice Arblaster.

She also was preceded by her husband, John Edward Allen in 1992.

She is survived by three children, a sister, seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
