Pisciuneri

William B. Pisciuneri, 65, of Cranberry Township, formerly of New Castle, died Thursday at his home in Cranberry Township.

He was born July 8, 1945, in New Castle, a son of the late Rocco and Minnie (Stoner) Pisciuneri.

He has been married to Debra (Rubeis) Pisciuneri for 14 years. She survives in Cranberry Township.

Mr. Pisciuneri was a senior vice president and financial adviser for Hefren-Tillotson in Wexford. He previously was part-owner of Rocky II Super Market in Shenango Township, which later became Giant Eagle, with his brother, James Pisciuneri.

Mr. Pisciuneri graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in political science.

He was an avid golfer, a Steelers and Pitt Panthers fan and enjoyed traveling, woodworking and the theater.

Mr. Pisciuneri was a radio show host for financial advice on WKST.

He loved spending time with his grandchildren and spending time at his second home in Charleston, S.C.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Melissa Librizzi and her husband, Sam, and Stacey Ferrese, all of New Castle; one son, William Pisciuneri and his wife, Theresa, of Moon Township; two stepsons, William Mancino and his wife, Dusty, of New Castle and Christopher Mancino and his wife, Stacy, of Moon Township; two brothers, James Pisciuneri of Youngstown, Ohio, and Rocco Pisciuneri Jr. of Raleigh, N.C., two sisters, Connie Young of Hubbard, Ohio, and Roseann Lucas of Edinburg, Lawrence County; and seven grandchildren.

<B>PISCIUNERI </B>— Visitation for William B. Pisciuneri, who died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011, will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at <B>William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home</B>, 926 Cunningham Ave., New Castle. Blessing services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home's Memorial Chapel.
