Valerie K. Fincher
Valerie K. Fincher, 53, of Cabot passed away Wednesday at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, surrounded by her husband and children.
Born May 23, 1957, in Natrona Heights, she was the daughter of Walter and Diane (Preto) Henkel.
She was a graduate of Knoch High School.
Valerie was president of Alpha Insulation.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
She enjoyed watching her children play sports, watching recreational, high school and collegiate fast-pitch softball, quilling, stamping, traveling to craft shows, vacationing and spending time with her friends and family.
Surviving are her loving husband, Paul Fincher, who she married Sept. 11, 1982; her mother, Diane (Preto) Henkel of Cabot; her children, Joshua (Ashley Kujbus) Fincher of Cranberry Township, Stephanie Fincher of Cabot and Matthew Fincher of Cabot; her brothers, Walter Henkel Jr. of Butler and Shawn (Judy) Henkel of Cabot; her sister, Melissa (Hobie) Kenton of Cabot; her brothers-in-law, Darryl Fincher of Valencia and Mark (Marie) Fincher of Butler; her sister-in-law, Andrea (William) Crissman of Butler; her mother-in-law, Patricia Fincher of Saxonburg; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, her maternal grandparents, James and Ruth Preto, and her father-in-law, Edward Fincher.
<B>FINCHER</B> — Friends of Valerie K. Fincher, who died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011, will be received Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Sarver with the Rev. Emery Barnett officiating.
