Mary Jane Raupp

Mary Jane Raupp, 91, of Mars, Adams Township, died Wednesday morning at UPMC Passavant hospital in Cranberry Township.

Born in Pittsburgh, April 5, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Edward J. and Beatrice E. Potts MacFarland.

A homemaker, Mrs. Raupp was a member of the Mars United Presbyterian Church, and she enjoyed camping with her family.

Surviving are a daughter, Mary Jane “Janie” Aiken and her husband, Donald; and two sons, Heinie John “Jack” Raupp Jr. and his wife, Mary Jane, and Eddie M. Raupp, all of Mars. Also surviving are four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Heinie J. Raupp Sr., who she married July 20, 1944, and who died Nov. 3, 2002; a brother and three sisters.

<B>RAUPP </B>— Friends of Mary Jane Raupp, who died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011, will be received at the <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home</B>, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the Mars United Presbyterian Church, 232 Crowe Ave., Mars, with the Rev. Nathan Esser, pastor, officiating.
