Five Butler County high school basketball teams know who they will be playing in the PIAA playoffs this week,

Boys• Butler (16-10) will host Altoona (11-13) at 7 p.m. Tuesday in a Class AAAA play-in-round game.• Moniteau (15-9) will take on Wilkinsburg (19-6) at 3 p.m. Saturday in a Class AA at Gatewayl.• Summit Academy (18-10) will battle District 10 Class AA champion North East (19-6) at 3 p.m. Saturday at Gannon.• Union (20-7) will play North Cambria (16-10) at 7 p.m. Friday in a Class A game at Keystone High School

Girls• Union (22-3) will take on Homer Center (19-6) in a Class A game at 3 p.m. Saturday at Clarion University

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Notre Dame's Ben Hansbrough was the lone unanimous selection to the All-Big East team on Sunday.The 6-foot-3 senior guard was joined on the six-man first team by Kemba Walker of Connecticut, Austin Freeman of Georgetown, Ashton Gibbs of Pittsburgh, Marshon Brooks of Providence and Dwight Hardy of St. John's.

HAMDEN, Conn. — Velton Jones hit a fadeaway jumper over two defenders with 6 seconds left to play, lifting Robert Morris over Quinnipiac 64-62 on Sunday in the Northeast Conference semifinals.For the third straight year, the Colonials (18-13) ended Quinnipiac's NEC tournament run. The game yielded 22 lead changes and 12 ties.The Colonials will face Long Island University (26-5) in the championship game on Wednesday night.

CHERRY TWP — The Moniteau Basketball Boosters are looking for teams to fill out its 3-on-3 tournaments in several age groups March 19.The tournaments are for boys and girls ages 8 -50. Call Randy Armagost at 724-679-9282.

CENTER TWP — Center Township will hold its final baseball/softball signups from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the elementary school cafeteria.Ages 5-18 are eligible.
