M. Louise Jones
M. Louise Jones, 90, of Butler, originally of Bethel Park, died early Friday morning at her home.
She was born in Brookline on June 7, 1920, a daughter of the late John W. Moorcroft and Mable Davies Moorcroft.
She was a 1938 graduate of Bethel Park High School.
She was the widow of William R. Jones, who died April 4, 2003. They were married on Nov. 16, 1947, in Bethel Park, where they built their home and raised three children. She enjoyed being a wife, mother and homemaker.
Louise served the Lord in many ways as she brought the joy of music to the congregation of the Brightwood Christian Church in Bethel Park, serving as its organist.
Louise was a friend of many and beloved by all who knew her.
She is survived by her three children and their spouses, William R. Jones (Vickie) of Oracle, Ariz., David L. Jones (Cher) of Triangle, Va., and Kathryn McCorkle (Jim) of Butler; seven grandchildren, Chivon Jones, Sean Jones, Jim McCorkle, Tom McCorkle, Jon Jones, Bob Jones and Stephanie Jones; two great-grandchildren; one sister; and many nieces and nephews.
<B>JONES</B> — Friends of M. Louise Jones, who died Friday, Feb. 4, 2011, will be received at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Chris Easton, pastor of the Church of the Nazarene of Butler, will officiate.
