We have a precious loved one

Our dear son, brother, and uncle who passed away.

We would give it all and more

To see your handsome face we loved so dear

Come smiling through our door

Some think we are not lonely

When at times they see us smile

Little do they know the heartaches

That we suffer all the while.

How even the most joyous of occasions have a sadness

Without you here to share.

They say time heals all sorrow

And helps one to forget

But time so far has proven
