ELAINE HASEK (Mars), a freshman on the Waynesburg University women’s basketball team, scored a season-high 12 points off the bench in a 93-65 loss to No. 1-ranked Thomas More Wednesday.•

ALEC MILLER (Grove City High) of Thiel College finished in second place in the 157-pound weight division at the Presidents’ Athletic Conference Wrestling Tournament. Miller picked up a major decision before being pinned in overtime.•

LIZZ KING (Knoch) netted a game-high 18 points on a school-tying six 3-pointers in Chatham University’s 60-48 victory over Geneva College. The 3-pointers also gave King 139 for her career, breaking the school record of 134.
