How do I say goodbye to a brother

That I loved as much as you

I still cannot believe you’re gone

I’m still wishing it weren’t true.

I didn’t get to say goodbye

I’m still devastated that you’re gone.

I didn’t know that life would take

Such an unexpected turn

That you’d be separated from us so soon

Heartbreaking reality I struggle to grasp

I never had the chance to tell you all the thinks I felt

Especially how much I loved you

I wish we could go back

I need my brother; I need my best friend.

Till we meet again, you’ll always be in my heart.
